Elizabeth Bacher, Violin

A graduate of The Juilliard School, violinist and pianist Elizabeth Bacher has built a career spanning international stages, film score recordings, and high-profile events. As a concert artist, she has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Royal Concertgebouw, Salle Gaveau, Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Concertgebouw de Vereeniging, Benaroya Hall, and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

At Carnegie Hall, she performed a solo violin and piano recital including the premiere of Solo Blues, a piece written for her by composer Dan Tepfer, played on both instruments simultaneously by one person. First appearing on television at the age of six with a concerto debut at eight, Elizabeth’s playing has been heard on national television broadcasts including The Late Show with David Letterman and American Idol, as well as featured violin solos on soundtracks for films like Inheritance, Poppies, and Viva Verdi!.

Elizabeth received her musical training from Joel Smirnoff, Robert Mann, Roman Totenberg, Laurie Smukler, Zinaida Gilels and Zakhar Bron.

Her private event background includes appearing for the wedding of George Lucas and Mellody Hobson at Skywalker Ranch.

Based in Los Angeles, she contracts select private bookings and special events.
