A graduate of The Juilliard School, Elizabeth Bacher is a televised national prizewinner. She began her musical studies at the age of 3, performing on the largest concert stages of the world; and as a violinist and pianist been featured on radio shows in the US and abroad. She currently performs both classical and modern popular music.

     Beginning violin at the age of 3 and piano at the age of 6, Elizabeth had performed on television and as a concerto soloist by the age of 8. Since then she has performed at the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Salle Gaveau in Paris, the Academia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Carnegie Hall in New York, Benaroya Hall in Seattle, Concertgebouw di Vereeniging in Nijmegen, and the Konzerthaus in Berlin. She has also been featured on radio shows as a violinist and pianist, awarded the German Academic Exchange study grant in 2008. While in New York City, she performed a full solo violin and piano recital in Carnegie Hall including the premiere of Dan Tepfer’s Solo Blues, written to be played live as violin and piano by one person.

     Now based in Los Angeles, Elizabeth enjoys collaborating with other artists, finding herself in a variety of settings live and on film. She performs nationally in the electric violin trio The String Angels and the Jingle Punks Hipster Orchestra. She has performed with Sarah Brightman at the Dolby Theatre and contracted the live orchestra for Final Fantasy: A New World at Zipper Hall, also playing at the wedding of George Lucas and Melody Hobson at Skywalker Ranch. Her violin solos can be heard in the films Inheritance, Poppies, and most recently the documentary Viva Verdi!, currently in post production. She is most passionate about bringing music, and knowledge about classical music, to those who have limited access.
